Brian Briggs

Brian Briggs is an Irish actor hailing from Dublin.

Currently in his final year at LAMDA, he will graduate in October 2026.

Whilst at LAMDA, Brian’s stage credits include the leading roles of ‘Romeo’ in ROMEO & JULIET directed by Jennifer Tang and ‘Liolà’ in LIOLÀ directed by Dawn Walton OBE, both in 2025.

In 2024, Brian starred as ‘Luke Lally’ in the celebrated short film CAMERA OBSCURA directed by Conor James Carroll and produced by Idlewild Productions, which was awarded ‘Best Live Action Short Film’ at both Cinematic On the Pulse Film Festival and the Ashbourne Film Festival.

Brian is a highly skilled musician; instruments include guitar, bass, piano, drums, and singing, amongst others.

Recipient of Scholarships from The Golden Bottle, The Leverhulme Trust and the Isobel Monk Award 2025, and nominated for the Laurence Olivier Bursary 2025. Prior to LAMDA, Brian received a BA in Drama & Theatre Studies at Trinity College Dublin.

Fluent in Irish and English. Based between London and Dublin.
