Jamie Bogyo is an American actor and writer. 

As a writer, Jamie’s new play MUSCULUS will have it’s world premiere at the Almeida Theatre in June 2027, directed by Dominic Cooke in his directorial debut as Artistic Director.

His debut stage play SAFE SPACE premiered at Chichester Festival Theatre in October 2025, directed by Roy Alexander Weise, in which Jamie also starred in the show as ‘Connor’.

As an actor, Jamie’s feature film credits include ‘Richard Hocknell’ in Mona Fastvold’s acclaimed THE TESTAMENT OF ANN LEE for Annapurna and Searchlight Pictures, and ‘Laertes’ in Simon Stone’s highly anticipated ELSINORE for Studio Canal.

Jamie has been hailed as “one of the most exciting talents working in musical theatre today”.

His leading theatre credits include his professional debut as the lead role of ‘Christian’ in the original West End cast of MOULIN ROUGE! THE MUSICAL at the Piccadilly Theatre, ‘Nate’ for a guest run of the West End musical THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA at the Dominion Theatre, ‘Carl Friedrich von Weizsäcker’ in the UK premiere of Alan Brody’s award-winning play OPERATION EPSILON at Southwark Playhouse Elephant, and ‘Alex’ in the West End revival of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s ASPECTS OF LOVE opposite Michael Ball, directed by Jonathan Kent.

Jamie trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art for three years, graduating in 2019.
