Laura Hanna
Laura Hanna is a British-Egyptian actor for screen and theatre.
Most recently, Laura starred in the leading role of ‘Olivia’ in TWELFH NIGHT, OR WHAT YOU WILL at Shakespeare’s Globe and as ‘Leigh’ in OTHERLAND at the Almeida, both across 2025. Further stage credits include the lead roles of ‘Jen’ in the award-winning BINDWEED at Mercury Theatre and Arcola and ‘Adriana’ in A COMEDY OF ERRORS at Shakespeare’s Globe, alongside ‘Faiza’ in the Almeida’s production of ONCE UPON A TIME IN NAZI OCCUPIED TUNISIA and ‘Laura’ in A HISTORY OF WATER IN THE MIDDLE EAST at the Royal Court.
For the screen, Laura’s television credits include the recurring role of ‘Mariam Argent’ in the hit series HEARTSTOPPER for Netflix, ‘Eva Baldwin’ in CALL THE MIDWIFE for BBC One and ‘Ali’ in GRACE V for ITV.
Alongside acting, Laura is a professionally trained singer and a published poet.
Laura trained at LAMDA, where she graduated in 2011. She is based in London.
