Laura Hanna
Laura Hanna is a British-Egyptian actor for screen and theatre.
Laura’s theatre work include the leading role of ‘Olivia’ in TWELFH NIGHT, OR WHAT YOU WILL at Shakespeare’s Globe and as ‘Leigh’ in OTHERLAND at the Almeida, both in 2025. Further stage credits include the lead role of ‘Adriana’ in A COMEDY OF ERRORS at Shakespeare’s Globe (2023), ‘Faiza’ in ONCE UPON A TIME IN NAZI OCCUPIED TUNISIA at the Almeida (2021) and LIVING NEWSPAPER EDITION 5 at the Royal Court (2021).
For the screen, Laura’s television credits include the recurring role of ‘Mariam Argent’ in the hit series HEARTSTOPPER for Netflix, ‘Eva Baldwin’ in CALL THE MIDWIFE for BBC One and ‘Ali’ in GRACE V for ITV.
Alongside acting, Laura is a professionally trained singer, skilled pianist and dancer. She is also a published poet.
Laura trained at LAMDA, where she graduated in 2011. She is based in London.
